DHA Construction Management's journey can be traced back to the year 2000, when Sean Davis, our current president, and his wife purchased their first home. Like many homeowners, they faced a tough battle with their contractor over issues of water damage and quality. The experience was akin to déjà vu when they encountered similar problems with their next home nearly 14 years later. These experiences unveiled the immense challenges of managing construction projects while maintaining work-life balance. Sean's involvement on his HOA board of directors further highlighted the difficulties faced by community managers in overseeing such tasks. His first-hand experiences, combined with his expertise in managing complex construction projects, ignited a desire to help other homeowners and community managers. This led to the founding of DHA Construction Management, a company steeped in understanding and dedication.

Meet the Team

President/Owner

Sean Davis

He has hands-on experience as a carpenter, roofer, brick paver, foundation crew laborer, exterior trim carpenter, finish carpenter, and concrete finisher. As a certified project management professional and civil engineer, he has managed hundreds of projects of various sizes, scopes, and risks. He has worked alongside engineers, architects, and Fortune 500 contractors to help solve their construction problems. His distinctive blend of hands-on experience and construction diversity has helped deliver the best value for the construction budget. He has served on the board of directors for Villas at Arista HOA for over ten years and is the board president.

Construction Manager

Jim Drop

Jim is a skilled construction professional experienced in commercial multifamily and residential budgeting, bidding, managing, scheduling, and building. His broad background facilitates a positive, goal-oriented problem-solving mindset, fostering capable teams and generating exceptional results in any environment. He is experienced in customer relations, project management, safety management, estimating, land development, commercial remodeling, stormwater management, area management, strategic planning, and quality assurance. And is licensed as a residential general contractor.

Our condominium association in Boulder began to work with DHA in 2024. The difference in our ability to get projects completed - and completed well - is astounding.
